Music:

Currently working with the following instruments: piano, synthesizer (Kurzweil,
E-Mu, Yamaha), oud, lavta (Turkish lute), rebab (Middle Eastern spike fiddle), melodica, flute (classical and bamboo), guitar, bass, electric sitar, udu drum, dumbek, kalimba, computer.

Currently working primarily with digital photography, computer graphics and web design.

dB-tronics, Inc. Spartanburg, SC

Marketing Manager. Created and/or managed staff involved in the development of all company marketing programs and materials including, competitor research, print catalog, website, trade publication advertising, email marketing, press releases, photography, technical writing, product manuals, tradeshow displays and graphics, customer pricelists, multimedia presentations, marketing brochures and proposals.

Engineering Manager. Oversaw all company departments involved in product development and quality control. Responsible for the implementation of in-depth product development, design verification, quality control and release-to-marketing procedures. Strengthened documentation of in-house manufacturing and test procedures.

IT Manager. Managed staff responsible for company-wide computer and information infrastructure.

Manufacturing Manager. Managed in-house and external product design and assembly operations. Responsibilities included management of product packaging, shipping and inventory control departments.

Project Manager. Spearheaded dB-tronics initial OEM compatible product development efforts. Duties included printed circuit design, training of additional printed circuit designers and managing design technicians and outside electronics assembly vendors.


Aimons.net, Greenville, SC – VP of Marketing. Responsibilities included mass mail marketing campaigns, creation of printed sales literature, educational seminar development, sales and website design for the internet solutions (website design) market.


Printed Circuit Board Designer. Worked with electronic music synthesizer pioneer, Dr. Robert Moog, to develop a custom touch screen interface for music keyboards.


Computer Dynamics Inc. Greenville, SC - Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer. Duties included design of high density (8 to 12 layer, fine-pitch surface mount) printed circuit boards for the industrial computer and display market. Products included an STD-Bus computer board used to control experiments on a space shuttle flight and numerous single board computer/flat-panel display packages. Additional duties included development of marketing graphics, all purchasing of printed circuit boards and evaluation of, and technical contact for, outside electronics assembly vendors.


dB-tronics, Inc. Spartanburg, SC – Electronics Repair Technician. Duties primarily consisted of the repair of cable television converter boxes. Additional duties included desk-top publishing and marketing.


Spartanburg Technical College. Spartanburg, SC – Mathematics Tutor. Duties included tutoring in basic mathematics, algebra, trigonometry and calculus.
